About This Program

**Vocational Skilling Report - Restore Hope Uganda Children’s Orphanage**

Restore Hope Uganda Children’s Orphanage is committed to empowering children through vocational skills development to foster self-sufficiency and community contribution. The orphanage offers tailored tailoring lessons for both girls and boys above the age of 15, equipping them with valuable sewing and garment-making skills that can generate income and support their future independence. Additionally, baking lessons are provided, teaching children to make various baked goods such as cakes, daddies, and half cakes, which not only enhance their culinary skills but also help reduce the cost of eatables, enabling children to prepare their own breakfast and school meals. Furthermore, art and craft lessons are incorporated to nurture creativity, where children learn to make door mats, crochets, and decorate bottles, thereby improving their artistic skills and fostering innovative thinking. Overall, these vocational programs aim to equip the children with practical skills that promote self-reliance, creativity, and economic empowerment, ultimately preparing them for a sustainable future.
